     When I bred to CH Bertlin Riptide, R.O.M., I was blessed with two special female puppies born on Christmas Eve in 1993 and they both turned out to be show quality. 

     I was going through a bad time in my life and thought that my world was going to cave in.  Mindi was the inspiration that kept me going in the dogs, thus her name.  She was a natural in the show ring and never put a foot wrong and could she move!  Since she didn't take me as a serious handler and treated me like a giant squeak toy in the ring, I had my friend and handler Mark Hersman (Westar Shelties) show her to most all of her wins that included several Best of Breed wins from the classes and a Group II.

     With sad hearts we announce the untimely passing of my Sweet Inspiration.  Mindi has been living in her forever home with Dave and Darla Budworth of Three D's Collies where she has received lots of love and individualized attention she so deserved.
