Shelties are not for everyone.  They are very loyal family dogs and desire to live in the house with their family.  Most shelties are sensitive and should never be subjected to heavy handed corrections or their temperaments could be ruined for life.  If left in a back yard unattended for long periods of time, they will get bored and lonely and could become disruptive to your neighbors as they are barkers or worse yet, get themselves into serious trouble that could cause them harm.  We ask that anyone looking to purchase a sheltie, do your homework to determine if you or your lifestyle is right for a sheltie.  If you are never home and can't devote the time to a sheltie that he/she requires, then a sheltie is not for you.

We are not a kennel and we breed on a very limited basis only if at all.  We breed for quality and not for quantity.  Only show quality dogs based on our breed standard written by our parent club, The American Shetland Sheepdog Association, are used in our program.  Occasionally we might have an older adult and or pet puppy available.  If we don't have a sheltie puppy and or adult available, we are willing to offer our assistance in helping you find a quality sheltie from a reputable breeder through our many resources.

All of our adult dogs have been tested to rule out genetic abnormalities i.e., hip dysplasia, inherited eye problems, thyroid disease and DNA gene testing for Von Willebrand's disease, (hemophilia) before any breeding takes place.    All puppies at the age of 8 weeks are taken to our veterinarian for a complete exam and first vaccinations.  Wormings are started at two weeks of age and continue until puppy is released to their new home.  No puppies are released under the age of 8 weeks.

Puppies are raised and socialized in our home.  We follow the rule of sevens which include but not limited to the following:

By the time a puppy is 7 weeks old it will have been on 7 different surfaces.  Played with 7 different types of objects.  Placed in 7 different locations.  Been exposed to 7 challenges.  Eaten from 7 different containers.  Eaten in 7 different locations.  Met and played with 7 new people.

All dogs offered for sale through this website are sold to approved homes only.  We reserve the right to choose which home is best for the dog, according to our terms and conditions.  We do not ship our pet/companion puppies and require that prospective new owners come to our home so that we can meet you in person.

When there is availability posted on our available page we will require our "Getting to you know" questionnaire be filled out in order to be placed on our wait list.  Being on our wait list does not guarantee you a puppy.  All show prospect puppies are retained here unless otherwise noted.

All pet/companion puppies are to be spayed and or neutered.

Currently we have nothing available.
